We recently purchased a PDQ 32 LRC (formerly Mongoose Magic).

Your articles in Practical Sailor led us to your blog where I'm learning so much. A few days ago, I purchased "Keeping a Cruising Boat on Peanuts" - a treasure trove. Thank you for the incredible education you provide.

In addition to the PDQ, we have an elderly Telstar 26 (owner sailed it over from the UK), an O'day Mariner 19, Lasers, fishing kayaks, etc.

We are adjusting from the small simple Telstar (camping in a pup tent) to the far more complex PDQ (staying in a hotel room w amenities). Thanks for the incredible education you provide in your articles on this blog, PS, etc.
Hope our paths cross one day!
Pampam_chesbayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07436652876070398593noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399150767029697926.post-32609930621727450612017-12-08T19:54:53.607-05:002017-12-08T19:54:53.607-05:00I hope the site is useful.
As you know, I've ...I hope the site is useful.

As you know, I've downsized from a cruising cat to and F-24 trimaran. Without question, I will shift some of the interest to smaller boats, not because I've lost interest in cruising, but rather because my eyes have been opened to the interests of smaller boat sailors. Sailing magazines, in my opinion, have always catered to their advertisers and larger boats in the interests of getting us to move up and spend more.

But I'm still doing cruising stuff and big boat product testing. I still find that just as fascinating. I've articles on the Clipper Round-the-World Race, non-destructive testing, and moorings in the Florida Keys all in progress. It's all boating.Drew Fryehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06013965677534522281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399150767029697926.post-71929449574675898752017-12-08T18:03:03.990-05:002017-12-08T18:03:03.990-05:00Hi, just wanted to say I read your site regularly ...Hi, just wanted to say I read your site regularly and really benefit from it. I read your book on Kindle and hope some day to do the DelMarVa circumnavigation. I sail a 50 year old Alberg 35 out of Anchorage Marina in Baltimore: Pendragon (and usually post other places as Pendragon35. I appreciate your views and background. By the way, I reposted your chemical comment on Facebook; I know you have a background in chemical engineering and I trust your opinion.James Eatonhttp://firstreflection.orgnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399150767029697926.post-33568283725392300042017-03-10T16:10:19.663-05:002017-03-10T16:10:19.663-05:00Just stumbled across you website looks good - I ho...Just stumbled across you website looks good - I hope to spend time and learn some stuff here. I've already got a back log of posts lined up, and I'm going back to the start (nearly 500 posts) and renovating the old stuff with whatever I've learned.Drew Fryehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06013965677534522281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5399150767029697926.post-13635657384339838062016-09-21T22:39:32.618-04:002016-09-21T22:39:32.618-04:00Drew,

We've done a little exploring of the barrier islands by kayak this summer, but I'm hoping to get in some overnight anchoring trips on our cat now that the weather is cooling down. I purchased your sailing Delmarva guide several years ago and now that we live right here I'm really excited about putting the guide to good use. If you are passing through Cape Charles, give us a shout.

ChrisS/V Ti' Punchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16550193157205438506noreply@blogger.com
